At Knoxville Coffee Company we know good things take time. Our Old City Roast is harvested and naturally processed in the Cerrado Region of the Brazilian Highlands. A longer method, this ancient processing technique allows for the coffee bean to dry in the sun allowing the coffee to absorb more sugar and nutrients before we start the roasting process. We then slow roast the beans in small batches creating a beautifully rich, very smooth, and aromatic cup of coffee.
As homage to Knoxville’s Old City, we’ve crafted this coffee to match its rich history. We’ve seen over two centuries of trials forged through steel and rail. We’ve lived through civil war and a plague that wiped out 10 percent of the population. We’ve endured a more colorful time when violence ruled the day and saloons and brothels lined the streets. We’ve seen enterprise and industry spurring innovation and growth. Our history is a rich one with character and grit and determination. We our inextricably intertwined with our past and history asks questions of us all. At Knoxville Coffee Company, our history is made in the coffee. Within each cup there is a whole story.
